A bilingual foldout map (36 inches by 24 inches) which shows the Canadian advance on D-Day (6 June) and D+1 (7 June) on one side, and reproduces a 1944 Defence Overprint map on the reverse. This map was issued to Canadian soldiers landing on Juno to let them know what German defences (bunkers, machine guns, barbed wire, mines, etc.) to expect.
It also features aerial reconnaissance photographs and original colour images taken of Juno Beach on the day of the operation.
A must-have for anyone interested in the history of Juno Beach!
